Pros: very large bowl, easy to clean Cons: actually everything else. I bought this mixer because of the large bowl and the description that it was powerful enough to mix large batches of batter. I make cakes and cookies and was looking forward to making multiple batches at once. This is normal for making cake batter, but I had to empty the bowl and stop mixing by hand because the attachments didn't reach close enough to the sides or bottom of the bowl. It was completely useless for making cookie dough. The spatula does not turn the dough and the mixer keeps turning off. When I tried to use the dough hook, it didn't knead the dough at all. He made an indentation in the center only, and all the dough was pushed to the side of the bowl. The bowl guard keeps all the ingredients in the bowl but doesn't fit properly so the blender doesn't jam and bounce around as it isn't blocked. But luckily, the shield isn't really needed until you start shuffling everything at level one. All in all a good blender for someone else but not for me. i give it back
