The box is fine. Sounds good, but I have a few questions. When installing the subwoofer, I squeezed the cone and there were serious air leaks in the box. The first leak was an extremely cheap terminal on the side. There was free flow of air through the cup, mainly the spring terminals themselves. I changed it to a plate but there was still an air leak. I eventually found out that they had a 3/4 inch cutout for the side board, but the board they used wasn't exactly 3/4 inch so they laminated it with another board that was like 1/8 inches thick. When the subwoofer was pushed, air entered the cutout under the end cap, flowed between the layers of wood, and then exited the joint in the corner. I have never sealed them 100% but closed them. Features a sturdy 1" thick MDF front panel that offers heavy duty floor mounting and a home made speaker grille mount.
