First of all, this yarn is BEAUTIFUL. I love that it comes with a sticker at the end inside the skein for an easy start. I don't know why other companies don't do this! Surprisingly comfortable. Cons: The yarn is thinner than advertised. Advertised as size 2, actually size 1 (super thin, see photos). The yarn consists of four strands, which then gradually change from one strand to another color to create a gradient. This results in more knots throughout the ball and makes the yarn more breakable (fewer than one strand being caught and bunched) when crocheting/knitting. It's not a critical factor for me, but I know that some things can turn some people off. For the mandala I'm making, I want to see the full spectrum of colors. Not all colors are used due to the incorrectly advertised size. I don't do the extra work of separating each section when I change colors, folding them in half so they double, and coiling them separately. I hope this works because I really love these colors.
