Overall a great fan. It's very quiet at medium speed, a bit noisy at high speed, but fairly fast at medium speed. The light is beautiful. Exactly what we wanted. I have this in our master bedroom and it's perfect. After reading other reviews I was worried I wouldn't like the glass pattern, but it's not that noticeable. The included light is perfect for the bedroom. Not too light and not too dark. The biggest problem is that the only option you have is to use the remote control. It cannot be used with a dimmer on the wall and there is no dimmer on the remote control. Besides, if the remote control breaks or your dog eats it, you're screwed. So be careful with that. The remote feels very cheap and uses huge batteries. I haven't installed it. We paid an electrician to do it. Very glad we did as he said it wasn't easy. On the same day he installed a hunting fan for me in another room. It took him 20 minutes to dismantle the old one and install the new one. This fan took him an hour and a half, and he had to fiddle with the antenna to get the remote to work properly. Overall happy with my purchase and would recommend the fan.
