The shower head increased the water pressure just a tad bit, but the button on the side to change the settings doesn't do anything, so unfortunately it essentially has one setting. The supplied hose is very high quality and flexible. Other reviewers have mentioned that the hardware that attaches it to the plumbing and holds the shower head splatters and leaks all over the place - I ended up using the hardware from my old shower head because I couldn't waterproof the hardware for it. I didn't return it or notify the seller as I couldn't wait for a replacement and it works with my configuration so I can't comment on customer service.
