Molex is something we all have to contend with, so this cable is great for converting Molex into a more suitable SATA cable. However, when I installed this, the Molex connector didn't have the satisfying *click* that Molex is known for, and because it was dangling from the hard drive that the SATA side was connected to, there was a noticeable gap that was causing this slip away. . I ended up having to attach this cable to a crossbar to prevent it from becoming completely disconnected. I pulled hard on the cable to see if it would disengage when I squeezed it, but it stayed together even though the gap widened. But don't risk that when powering your hard drive! I would have ordered a different cable but was happy with it once I attached it to the case. tl;dr Excellent cable, however you may need to reinforce the connecting cables on the molex side with a rubber band or zip tie.
