I've been observing various home power monitoring systems for a while. I like the meaning but can't justify the price yet. So I decided that entry-level reading is ideal. I love these items but you have to make your own box. Reading AMP is a bit different, but it gives me a good idea of what's going on on my system. I installed two of these, one for each leg. Now I have to see how long they last. This is just the first day. Also, I have a 200 amp service and that was the absolute max limit that induction coils could go around. Before anyone says anything, I know they're rated for 100 amps, but that won't cause a meltdown if my house draws any more. Reading just won't be able to read it properly.
