Review on πŸ”‘ Rustic White Key Holder for Wall with Mail Organizer and Floating Shelf - 2 in 1 Wall Mount Mail and Key Holder for Entryway, Hallway, Kitchen, Bedroom by Angie Creek

Great concept and eye-catching item, just needs to work on the craftsmanship.

So I thought this would be perfect for my entryway at my front door. This gives kids easy access to grab umbrellas, jackets, backpacks, etc. (and gives them a place to hang them instead of putting their stuff on the floor. It's a great concept and I love that this one Set of 2. ) with a small shelf and with a reliably closed shelf for mail etc. Here are the problems: Installation is not easy. Shelves come in different heights and lengths, which isn't a problem...but on the back wall are two metal indentation holes for dowels/screws to be inserted into the wall. However, the slots are uneven and no matter how much time I've spent measuring each hole (literally top/bottom/left/right) and taking into account the exact spot the screws went into the holes before going into the safe Slits slipped... it was still uneven. I used a large piece of paper and charted everything when I realized the slots weren't even (one slot on the smaller shelf was actually crooked) measured a couple of times, marked a layout of the tire on the paper, made sure it was was straight (I've done a TON of home projects and installed sconces) and after it was hung the small shelf still ended up crooked and the shelves didn't line up with their bottom edges. In addition, the already mounted hooks are very "flat". backpack or jacket. Something very thin, like a key ring or kitchen towel loop, will do, but no more. I'll probably try to find a place for them in the kitchen and just show off my decorative kitchen towels. best design or meticulous craftsmanship.
