These three piece grips look great once installed, but are a little tricky to install properly. What frustrated me the most is that the knobs come off the 'inner' screw very easily when you try to push them down so they don't unwind and rotate making them unusable. In addition, they inevitably wear out and/or weaken after normal daily use, requiring constant adjustment. Of the 45 I've bought, this has happened to 17 in 5 months. I was able to replace 14 of them, but now I'm out of "spare parts" and leave 3 (so far) broken in my closets. This is a poorly designed product. Once fitted, they either stay too loose, twist sideways and look awful, or break when tightened. Now I need to replace all the handles in my closet with something better.
