My first experience with an SSD. Unfortunately, it only lasted a year, but don't assume it's the SSD. I had a power outage/surge that damaged both the APC battery backup system (even though it was 4 years old) and destroyed the SSD drive AND my WD hard drive. So I would never use an SSD again unless I had a new desktop battery backup model. The repair technician was amazed that the power outage/surge destroyed both my SSD and HDD and disabled my backup battery but didn't affect any other components. So SSDs are great with that caveat.
