My husband never had a smartphone. For ten years I've been trying to get it to upgrade (not in a grumpy way, only when I upgrade or see a phone I think he might like do I ask him if he wants it). My friend told me about it. She has one for her children. So I figured this would solve my husband's main problem with smartphones - size. He has his phone in his pocket and likes the smaller size of the clamshell phone. Let's just say it's none of his business. π€£π€£π€£So instead of going back, we discussed everything and decided to give it to the kids. While we're not ready to give them regular cell phones just yet, this will be a good indicator of whether they're responsible enough for any of them. If they prove themselves, we'll consider using the service for them. At the moment it is only wi-fi. The size is so adorable. It's about the size of a credit card and so light. Looking at it you might think it's a toy but in fact it's real and it works. Actual screen size is 2.5 inches. 200 dpi resolution makes it easy to view and adapt to a smaller screen. Surprisingly, it charges quickly. About an hour for a full charge, and the battery can last 2 to 5 days (depending on how often you use it). We restrict children to work an average of 4 to 5 days on a single charge. Note that this is 3G only. Not compatible with 4G or 5G. However, it works with a 2G, 3G or 4G service but not with a 2G card. It is compatible with GSM operators and GSM SIM cards. I've seen plans ranging from $5 to $15 for this phone. I wanted to know what is actually available as I originally bought it for my husband. The front camera has a resolution of 2.9 MP and the rear camera has a resolution of 5.0 MP. Good phone for this size. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Again, for the size and what it is, it's pretty good. It runs on the Android operating system and is very easy to use. It even has different language options. We've had it for over a month now and the kids are still loving it. So far they have taken great care of it. Note. One thing I did was take the screen protector that fit my phone, cut it out with special tools and put it on top. It worked well enough and her screen is protected. It comes with a flexible plastic body cover. The only thing I didn't really care about was where I would get a case for it from. Must come with a hard case to protect your phone. I think it's better than nothing.
