Before I made the purchase, I was unaware of the mobi book format; however, it turned out that my concerns were unfounded because this is a pretty popular format, and I have never been required to use the converter that transforms FB2 files into mobi files. With its positives being: Image quality, simplicity of use, and extended battery life between charges (approximately two weeks with active daily reading with the backlight on) are all highlights of this tablet. Having these drawbacks: Not able to locate. The fact that there is advertising on the screen is not anything that I perceive to be an inconvenience.
