If you suddenly have a VW and suddenly the combination of TPMS/ABS/ESP/Traction Control + Airbag lights up at the same time, this will fix the situation. The ABS rotation sensors are the main feedback loop for all of these systems. You must use a code reader to determine which wheel has the problem: each wheel has a specific part number for the ESP/ABS system to work properly. (ie: it can tell which wheel is doing what, they are NOT interchangeable) In my case it was the right rear wheel. I unscrewed the old sensor and popped it out through the bolt hole with a screwdriver, installed that, drove 50 feet and all was good again. $50 and 15 minutes of work in the driveway.
