. I usually wear size 11 dress shoes but ordered a size 11.5 boat shoes to get the width I needed. Surprisingly they were still too short and pinched against my big toe making them unwearable. Didn't try them on when they arrived and didn't find out about the fit issue until I took them to the beach. When I got home it was too late to send the shoes back. I would consider buying another pair but the price has increased significantly since then.
