Installed perfectly on a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650 (+ Installation Tips)

Just installed on a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650. I had the ADV version of the knobs. don't wait to try them when crossing the mountain passes in April :) Here are some tips I learned along the way: 1. Cut off the old handles with a razor blade - don't waste time salvaging them :( 2. Clean both sides well - *keep cleaning* (I used 100 grit sandpaper and a razor blade) until you can dry them easily by pushing them straight without twisting them, pointing towards the bottom is on this one bike is well bolted to the handlebar ends they should *NOT* - repeat NOT - interfere with or dent the grips during installation!.especially on the throttle side as this can be a serious safety issue Rubber gloves - Rub the adhesive all over Shaft. A copious amount of glue acts as a lubricant and allows the grips to slide quickly. They had a dry fit) - but point the arrows on the grips forward, like that that after putting the handle on you make a quarter turn so that the arrows are pointing to the ground. 6. Slide the handles straight in one motion - forward arrows, then rotate them a quarter to the floor.7. complete the electrical connections. Electrical note: Depending on how many cells you have connected to the battery, you may need to purchase some longer terminal studs. These handles are the third thing I'm attaching, so I need 1/4 inch longer screws.
