These pins are HOT. Not warm, HOT. The remote control has 5 heat settings and at 100% power it can even penetrate my winter gloves with good heat settings. On rainy days, the palm of my gloves is steamy after taking my hands off the grips. (I didn't think I'd ever run them at less than 100%, but sometimes I do!). The grip pattern feels comfortable and provides a good grip on the Adventure model I purchased. The included remote mount works well on the stock mirror mount on my 2014 Suzuki…

Great control knobs

I installed them on my DRZ400SM. Installation is easy with the right tools and basic mechanical skills. For those with DRZ I routed the main battery cable along the frame, then the throttle cable, then made all the connections behind the headlight and finally hid all the cables and connectors with the existing factory wiring. Installation looks factory! If you have DRZ I strongly recommend buying a new throttle tube. The factory handle and gas tube are molded together, making handle removal…

The latest version of reliable heated grips.

I chose the OF690Z Heaterz Adventure heated handlebar because I had the previous version and loved it. My usage is heavy and the buttons actually wore out and then turned off due to water ingress into the DIN plug/socket on the older version. Given that buying a new version of the Oxford Heaterz was a no-brainer for me. This new upgraded version (OF690Z) features much less electronics to tire you out during installation. Installation was easy. The feature updates are excellent. Fully waterproof

Easy to install on a 1979 Suzuki GS850G

My hands always get terribly cold when I ride my bike in temperatures below 35F. I've tried many types of gloves, but even the best (or at least the most expensive) kept the cold out after only a few miles of riding. So I opted for heated grips. I've read a million reviews and it seemed to me that Oxfords offer the best value for money and have good reviews. In fact, the system looks high quality and the installation did not cause any difficulties. The original grips were mounted over a plastic

Just installed on a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650. I had the ADV version of the knobs. don't wait to try them when crossing the mountain passes in April :) Here are some tips I learned along the way: 1. Cut off the old handles with a razor blade - don't waste time salvaging them :( 2. Clean both sides well - *keep cleaning* (I used 100 grit sandpaper and a razor blade) until you can dry them easily by pushing them straight without twisting them, pointing towards the bottom is on this one bike is…

Just installed Oxford Premium Sport heated grips on a first generation FZ1. Installation was easy. While you can connect via a relay, the Oxford controller has a feature that automatically turns off if you leave the grips on after turning the bike off. I mounted the controller to the fairing insert on the left, but you have many mounting options (and Oxford includes a metal bracket that you may find more useful for your application). So. These grips don't stretch or rubberize like traditional…
