Individual crochet install around the perimeter with cornrow install in the middle. 6 weels inthe hair is still in tact, no major tangling or un twisting! The locks are not as perfect as they were out of the package, but I like the distressed look and think they look more like natural locs. My only gripe with all locs that have loose ends is that synthetic loose hair doesn't age the best. This hair is not bad at the ends but when you look closely, you can tell they are synthetic, if that makes sense. I wish someone would do this loc type using human hair, at least for the loose ends. Other than that, these are great! I would buy them again.
