Original GM in a Dorman box
leak perfectly fixed which i thought was the rear oil seal. Not an easy task on a Silverado 496 4x4. A dropped oil filter was found and access to the driveshaft helped. The originals were REALLY tight and it took a 30 inch breaker to break the seal. Do not kink the coolant lines or they will not fit. Remove the bracket from the block. the same, except for less money in the sleeping box.
