Ideal for TMC2209 Coated Thermal Via/Through-Hole Stepper 3D Printer ICs
I soldered a 10mm copper heatsink over the copper clad thermal vias on the TMC2209 stage. I tinned the vias, added flux and used a butane torch and tweezers. The fins can be fanned out by using a knife blade and bending the fins outward. I secured the IC with silicon so the chip wouldn't accidentally fall off the board lol.
