I have a variety of antennas to choose from and this was a solid and easy choice for me as it is small and compact and can be installed fairly discreetly. I installed it on a window in my office connected to my SDR radio with a BNC to SMA adapter. The bands that interest me the most are UHF and 7/800MHz and it seems to work pretty well in that part of the spectrum. On Noaa Weather, which offers about 12 miles line of sight, I see their signal at -54dB, which is actually excellent, and on UHF and 7/800 the performance is about the same. Overall a good little antenna with a very low profile.
