Review on 🌱 Schmidt's Charcoal + Magnesium Deodorant, Certified Cruelty Free & Vegan, 24-Hour Odor Protection, 3-Pack by Becky Smith

I've been using this deodorant for a few months now and really like it. I didn't stink and it lasted all day. I had no issues with discoloration or hypersensitivity and then suddenly in May 2020 I developed a rash in both armpits. At first it was just red. No other symptoms. I was using a different type of deodorant in April so I stopped using it immediately and went back to this one and it has continued to increase. It became dry, itchy and scaly, tight and hot, like a healing sunburn. Eventually, I tried going back to just using deodorant every few days, but the rash had spread to the size of just over a grapefruit, covering my entire armpit and moving toward the back of my arms. I have reduced shaving from daily to once a week or once every two weeks. Eventually I stopped using deodorant completely and just let it heal. When I tried the same deodorant for the first time, my inflammation flared up again and I was in pain again for several days. There have been no rashes for about a month now, but the skin is still discolored. I don't know what happened, but if you get a rash while using it, immediately assume it's this deodorant and stop using it.
