Bought to replace the original from the same company. Although the pad fits inside and zips closed, it's a bit tight, and since the pad is pressure-activated, it heats up as soon as it's plugged in. Since it's only used in cold weather, I kept it and just turned the heating pad off when the temperature was above freezing. This benefited my only cat, who liked to get some fresh air during the day but wanted to warm up. I even saw a possum come into the house a couple of times when it was very cold.
