This is my second purchase after 3 years. The original was starting to look a little worn. I would suggest laying out a piece of rug or laying it on straw for extra warmth. My cat doesn't even sleep in it over 50 because it gets too hot, so I turn it off for nights like this. If you're wondering if they'll walk through the door and seem scared, don't worry. I only had to bring my cat inside the house once and she understood everything.
