Difficult to tell from the description but the 3 fingers are spring loaded so they tighten when you place the phone on the bottom finger. won't support the wider USB-C connection, so the cable actually rests on your finger and not your phone when plugged in. This is probably not an issue in the real world, but it is an odd oversight on the part of the design.
