I bought this comb to get rid of static electricity in my hair during the winter months. It's smaller than I thought, but that's because I didn't check the measurements. Although the comb is very beautiful! It fits my hand fairly well and is relatively comfortable despite not having a grip. When used on my long, thick hair, this wasn't the fastest comb through. A hair comb would be better, especially for tangles. This is definitely not a detangling brush. However, it definitely does NOT generate as much static electricity as a plastic or wooden comb. However, it works best for shoulder-length or shorter hair. It has a lot of weight because it is made of metal. But not so much that it was difficult. I've also dropped it a few times but it hasn't warped or broken. I really like this hairbrush and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs something comfortable and durable when traveling.
