I have used several types of car hooks in the past and they work well. I made the mistake of not removing them from the car I sold. They were a bit more expensive but worth the price. They were easy to install and I love the fact that you can position the hook in front or behind the seat. They also look more solid. They almost look like they came by car. I don't need the phone holder feature but it fits my larger iPhone. It is not suitable for tablets or iPads. I received compensation for this review, but this in no way affected my response.
