I used this brand on my old phone that had a different connector and I really liked it, but I also like the USB Type-C version! I keep one in my purse, car, bedroom, desk and bathroom so I don't have to carry it around in my bag. They are very cheap for this quality. The people I call come out loud and clear and say they can hear me too! I have told my friends about them and they love them too. The shell is good. I have a pair of headphones that I twisted tightly and tucked the tip into one of the loops created, but I find it best to roll them up a bit when they arrive in the case to avoid damaging them. Apparently I damaged it that way. It took a long time, but finally the sound started to cut out as I put the phone from my hand onto the table. I have others that I have only slightly rolled and put in a suitcase that have never had a problem for at least a couple of years. I'm pretty sure the fault you had was my own fault and not the product.
