I really like that this unit produces a lot of wet mist, ideal for glowing in dry climates or keeping a large room humid. The downside of my UV lamp was that it failed after 12 hours of use. The remote works great, the touch controls are a pain. Won't turn back on after turning off. A major downside for those who require a certain base humidity for the device, and if an intermittent power outage occurs, the device will remain off until a person or perhaps other humanoids intervene.
