I thought this checkmate would solve a problem I had for a long time. The litter gets caught in the cat's fingers and settles directly in front of the box. I used to have a small rug that didn't quite pick up the trash and still made a huge mess. I thought the bag design was original and it works really well. The filler gets stuck in deep pockets, and you can take the whole bag, open the bag, shake out the trash, and even rinse the carpet since the material is waterproof. My cat thought differently and instead pissed all over the carpet. I'm not sure if she didn't like the texture, or if she just changed the old carpet, or picked up the trash I cleaned up daily, reminding her where to go. Five stars for the design which I really like and one star for my cat. Hey, this might work for you and your cat. Who knows. Oh the rug is well made and appears to be quite durable. I have yet to decide what to do with mine as it is mistaken for a toilet bowl.
