The smell goes away.: doorstop
I bought these to keep my vinyl albums on the shelves. I wanted a wedge that could reduce the shelf space of the cube and hold it if there were only 2-10 of them in the cube. 1) They come with the smell of new tires, they're rubber, that's why they smell that way. The smell has almost disappeared after 3 days (I have 40 of them on the shelf and not one on the door on the floor) 2) are deformed, the rubber is softer. I think this would be great for a door application as it fits snugly under the door. For my application, 50 records around the corner, nothing special. 3) love her. Bought 1 pack of 10, then 3 more.
