Review on 🔪 KA-BAR 1217S Leather Sheath with USMC Logo | 7" Blade Knife | Brown by Mike Sutherland

I've had my KABAR since I was 19 years old. The scabbard, while technically sound, has definitely seen heavy use in the nearly 25 years that I have owned it. The knife held up great although you could tell it was around the block it's as good as the day I got it but it was definitely time to get rid of the sheath. I deducted a star because the scabbard I received is a lot. lighter than the original case - can't remember exactly what color it was when new, but I'm pretty sure it was darker than new. This new case is durable, made with fine craftsmanship and should be able to withstand the same pressures. Well, in harsh conditions. It's like an albino knife in sheath hugging a charred log, even after I've sealed it with Sno multiple times. Well, at least I didn't buy it for the aesthetics. Also, I'm not a huge fan of non-Marines wearing the USMC Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, but I guess nobody asked me.
