Sony WS1 Immersive Portable Speaker - Amazing concept! I have had hearing loss since childhood. It's not bad enough to justify a hearing aid, but sometimes it interferes with my daily life. I have a partial audio loss, which means I'm missing certain audio levels. I have several reality shows that I enjoy watching from time to time. I've found that when I watch these shows, I either have to turn the TV up to a very high volume, which is unfair to other family members, or, as I usually do, I just miss part of what's being said or important background noise. . Until now. First, they are surprisingly comfortable to wear. They sit comfortably around my neck, or you can place them side by side on a side table. They have a raised volume slider that I can use to easily increase or decrease the volume as needed. They also have a very cool vibration feature that gets me in the action. It's also fun to wear while playing. I feel a vibration, but it doesn't overwhelm or irritate me, it just increases my arousal. I was impressed when I unpacked these elegant speakers. The first thing I did was charge it on the charging station that came with it, as per the detailed instructions. Then I read the instructions and connected the receiver. I've found that the TV in my living room can't connect to them unless I turn off the TV's built-in speakers so other people can't watch TV with me. At first I was disappointed. Then I realized I still enjoy watching most of these shows in bed at night and decided to try this TV and it worked right away! And it worked GREAT! For me it was like hearing the sound of a TV for the first time! I could hear everything I was missing and others heard all the time. I was happy. It's the only word that comes close to the emotions I've experienced. The Sony WS1 immersive portable speaker doesn't interfere with my husband's music at all. Since it doesn't cover my ears, I haven't lost the ability to hear normal sounds and speak around me and have normal conversations with those around me. As previously mentioned, the speaker itself weighs approximately 11.82 oz. This is a simple and convenient wireless connection to your (compatible) TV. Also, you can connect two devices at the same time. It comes with fixed cables for direct connection to my laptop and tablet. Wait, there's more. It connects to my phone! Now I can finally listen to these social media videos!
