Update November 28: The lights stopped working after my initial check. We put a new battery in, but they were still intermittent - either not turning on or just burning briefly. So I sent them back and got a replacement. These new lamps work satisfactorily. However, sometimes they turn on by themselves, and sometimes I have to use the remote to turn them on. I can take it because I like the way they look. First review: The Starlights have only been up and running for two days, but so far I am very satisfied. On the first day they were installed around 1pm and at 2am they were still burning! The solar panel is larger than other solar lights I've had and I love that it has a remote control. Some reviewers stated that the wires were flimsy, but the wires are actually thicker than the string lights they replaced. I love the way they look and hope these star lights last a long time.
