The whole function of the tea ceremony is to create a natural atmosphere that reflects simplicity and natural colors and textures. Even churning up green tea is believed to be like "wind through the pines". Therefore, I was not very impressed by the quality of the ceramic bowl, which was primarily intended to have a natural look and not have a shiny metallic finish. The Japanese love their simple earthenware bowls, and the more untouched a bowl looks from art, the more beautiful it is perceived. Otherwise, it is a complete set for tea ceremony, including tea, measuring spoon, whisk, whisk stand and bowl. Now I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to find a real, natural looking Japanese tea bowl on Revain.
