I tried using this to hold a water bottle but I couldn't put the bottle back in while driving so I gave up. Get a bottle that fits between the aero bars and has a straw. It's much safer. I thought maybe I could use it as an all purpose aerobar bag to hold clear glasses, sunscreen bags, lost kittens, etc. If the design was a little better this would be a very useful general bag. If they just move the front velcro loops back a bit so you can close the flap and add some velcro so you can seal the flap, it would be a lot more useful and really worth buying.
