On the Camaro LS3/L99 (and possibly all LS3/L99 engines) the location of the coil packs relative to the spark plugs is a little far out so they come on Coil pack and spark plug "snap in". Significant force was required to engage them, and with a spark plug, the tension in the wire created enough pulling force to eventually disengage from the spark plug. After work, when the wire was warm, he managed to stay seated. Hooking them up to a warm engine when they're warm (been in a 70+ degree environment for a while) makes it easier, but it's still a chore and once you've got them on it's easy to worry to make them accidentally peeling off.
