I've read reviews about poor quality or materials. I do not agree. I'm on my third batch and still have my original purchase. I wore a hole in a pair but let's be realistic in our standards. This hole was created by constant wear and tear and half marathon running plus training at the time. I wear these socks almost every day. I use them for everyday, CrossFit, running, light hiking and walking. They are washed A LOT and have endured it all. Originals from three years ago are finally starting to wear out, getting a little thinner and losing elasticity. I think I got my money from them :D People complaining about the smell or the lack of cotton, I disagree. My feet are sweating. They don't shine or glow, they sweat, and as long as you change your socks and wash them in decent detergent, they don't smell to me. What does it mean to change them? That means I don't go running and then wear the same socks all day. This means I can change my socks 2 or 3 times on hot summer days to keep my feet healthy. Anyone who has served knows the importance of keeping feet healthy, even if it means multiple shifts a day. My new shoes are well ventilated, which helped a lot. I don't wear them with all leather shoes, I wear them with sneakers or pumps. I would advise being careful with the insole used in the shoe. Some liners tend to get "slick" when soaked in this way and this causes problems. My earbuds are foam, so they tend to be more grippy than slippery. Something to consider.
