Review on Cutting-Edge Waterproof Daylight Appliance: The Refrigerator Equivalent by Justin Vasquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An excellent solution when small or short neck lamps are required.

These 5W Brothlaw LED bulbs can be used in more than just the fridge and are easily recouped by the energy savings. An ordinary light bulb wastes energy. In a fridge, energy is wasted in two ways: when the lights come on and when the heat starts heating up the fridge, causing the compressor and fan to run longer. Due to the rise in temperature in summer, the houses are equipped with lamps and lights. A 40W incandescent bulb uses 40 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity every 1000 hours, while a 5W Brothlaw LED bulb uses only 5 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity every 1000 hours. .The nationwide average cost per kWh is 14.4 cents per kWh and in New York where I live it's about 23 cents and this month it's 30 cents. In summer it can exceed 50 cents. Based on the average, I'm getting $9.20 per 1,000 hours of use for each of these little incandescent bulbs and only $1.15 (8 times less) for each 5W Brothlaw LED bulb. a lot if you have either of the two, but if they're in lamps, cabinets, recessed lighting, etc. they add up quickly. These Brothlaw 5w LED bulbs are brighter than the 40w bulbs they replaced and made the fridge look better too.

Pros
  • Energy Saving: The Brothlaw 120V 40W Fridge Lamp features a special LED filament that draws only 5W of power while providing the equivalent of a 40W incandescent lamp. The incandescent lamp can light up for about 1 hour, our refrigerator lamp can light up for about 7 hours, so our A15 refrigerator LED lamp is more energy efficient.
