These are good heavy duty sockets. I bought polished nickel bushings to put on a large Mahogany Bombay table I just built for myself (32" x 80"). The optics contrast very well with the dark shiny table and is 1000 times better than plastic eyelets! The inner ring of the grommets is 2.5" in diameter and I drilled it with a 2.5" hole saw and it fits perfectly. I ordered a pack of 5. and they all come individually wrapped. One had a small scratch on the top but it wasn't very noticeable and I only needed 3. Anyway I used the other two for an old beat up table.
