Grommet Chrome Polish with a Reduced Opening for Precise Application Review

These are good heavy duty sockets. I bought polished nickel bushings to put on a large Mahogany Bombay table I just built for myself (32" x 80"). Gaskets are ok. Here's the problem: They don't sit very far in the hole. The sides of the sleeve that slide into the hole don't go very far. I'm sure they designed it that way for some reason, but it doesn't seem to be seated deep enough in the hole to be securely secured. What speaks against it is their high weight, which not only makes them feel high quality, but also sits securely. I bought a set of 5 of these table mats. 3 of them had great finishes, no issues. 1 was badly scratched which is difficult for them as they are quite thick metal and had many abrasions on and under the surface. The other had minor surface wear but was in fair condition. This is amazing as they come in individually sealed foam envelopes inside a large padded envelope.
