The extra inch comes in handy for larger sandwiches.

Let's face it, a sandwich bag is just a sandwich bag. We don't need any extra quality or special features. As long as the seal works well and the seams don't rip, it will do its job well. I have two kids and I use sandwich bags a lot for snacks and sandwiches on the go. I usually buy Ziploc or Up&Up (the target brand) whichever has the best price at the moment. Both suit me. These bags are almost identical in quality to the Target brands. Same thickness, very similar gasket. Easy. Compared to Ziploc, the only difference I see is the green "easy open tab" in Ziploc, but I really don't see why you would need that. My 3 year old can easily open a bag without it. Ziploc has slightly thicker plastic, but as long as the bag is strong enough that it can't be easily ripped apart, it doesn't need thicker plastic. What I love about these bags is their size. That extra inch makes it very handy for large slices of bread. Not every bread is the perfect square shape and wonder bread size. When I make a large bread sandwich and add extra ingredients (tomato slices, onions, pickles) sometimes the regular sized sandwich bag gets too tight and I have to squeeze the sandwich to fit. These bags are good for large sandwiches, but I find them a bit overpriced. I can currently buy 150 Up&Ups for $4.09 and 150 Ziplocs for $4.59 from Target. They currently cost $9.48 for a pack of 4 (120 packs total). On the other hand, I think they might be worth the extra money if you use them on larger sandwiches. Think of all those sandwiches that aren't mashed for just extra pennies a pack! I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I find them to be on par with the other brands I've mentioned in terms of quality and love the fact that they're a bit more comfortable.
