Honestly these were the best little shoes for our boy. He is 5 months old but he is already walking very actively in a baby walker and is beginning to notice that his little legs get tired when walking. We decided to try these little sandals in size 6-12 months and they fit him perfectly. He's a bit fuller than a baby, but he still needs to fill out about 1-2 inches so he can get more out of them. The straps are Velcro although they look like straps with buckles and the sole of the foot is soft giving them some cushioning that small feet can fit on. He could easily push off the ground in his walker and move around much faster. He even stood outside the walker with them for about a second. They are very soft and comfortable but sturdy on the outsole. I highly recommend them. It will also look great in photos.
