I have been using Hitachi impact tools for almost twenty years. Dropped her on the concrete from the second floor. (Other brands before I found Hitachi were dead if I dropped them like that) They were filled with so much sheetrock dust they stopped working. Take them apart, rinse them out with a garden hose and blow them out with an air compressor. Then spray with WD-40 and dry again. Put them back together and they work like new. They were brush style tools. So when I was looking for a 1/2" drill/screwdriver to put jack stands in and out of my RV. For a long time I didn't think about which brand to buy. Sure there are others that run longer or quieter etc. but I haven't found any heavier ones!
