I've had one of these for about seven years. My first pair of mice didn't use it at all. They preferred plastic. My new mice seem to love this wheel though. They loved it so much that three of them tried walking on it instead of a plastic bike. So I ordered another one. Now I have two! I suggest a small one for all mice. This is the perfect size for her. It's durable, you can hold it well. It's big enough not to bend your back. And it's more open to them. My only downside is that any pet can obviously get stuck in some of the fixed side pieces while running. I didn't have that, but I think it would be nice to have that in the back of your mind. Especially with large small animals
