I bought everything I could find on the market ie the cheapest food for my cats until one of my cats got sick. Among other health issues, she had very low levels of potassium. My husband and I spent over an hour at the pet store googling groceries and reading labels. We learned a lot about protein, calories, potassium, etc. Blue Wilderness was the best of all. Although her problems were not food related we did everything we could between medicine and food to make her better but unfortunately we had to let her go right after Christmas. I still buy this brand for my 3 cats. I grew up in a time when 9 Lives or Friskies was all you could get and just kept going until I opened my eyes. The pieces are small and round and easy to eat. So far they've loved all the flavors we've tried, duck, salmon, rabbit and chicken. Although it's an expensive price per bag, it makes me feel better knowing I'm feeding my kids what I think is the best food available. As pet owners, we are responsible for the health of our pets and must treat and feed them the way we treat and feed ourselves. We need them just as much as they need us.
