Do not buy it will give your cat urine crystals and clog their urethra

DO NOT FEED THIS TO YOUR CATS. My 2 year old cat had crystals in her urine after using this product. We have confirmation from a feline specialist that he is constantly giving cats crystals and blocking their urethra. This is not the only such review, read others. I chose this food because I read that the quality is high and the ingredients are good, but I'm glad my cat is very close to an incredibly preventable death from eating this. I've been told that Science Diet and Royal Canin are the…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • boring packaging

So I've been feeding my cats since they were born (the kitten version of course) and then switched to the adult version. Their fur was very soft for a long time, but around their two-year birthday they vomited once a day or every other day. One of my cats was also overweight (15 pounds versus 12 pounds for the other). They didn't have much energy either. Did the research because the vet told me she thought Blue Wilderness was crap. She also recommended IAMS which I've read sucks too and has a…

Struvite crystals in cats

I switched my 5 year old ginger tabby to this brand to give him a better quality food. I used to feed him good food, but I've heard so many good things about the blue buffalo that I decided to choose the best for his health. About a month later I had to take him to the emergency room for a urinary tract obstruction. He had struvite crystals. There were no problems before. I had to spend 1000 to take care of him and save his life (the hospital wanted to charge me 3000 and leave him alone for a…

Don't Feed Your Cats Blue Buffalo

I had 8 cats 6 weeks ago and 6 as of last night. I believe Blue Buffalo killed 2 of my 11 year old cats (who were brothers). After a slow transition to this brand, which should be excellent (and very expensive), everyone seems to like it. I mixed it halfway with Blue Buffalo Basics Duck & Potato Recipe. They liked it - I bought more. 3 weeks after this feeding, a cat died of acute and sudden liver failure 6 weeks ago - an otherwise perfectly healthy domestic cat. Last night (06/18/18) his…

Beyond the Best and Cat Approved

I bought everything I could find on the market ie the cheapest food for my cats until one of my cats got sick. Among other health issues, she had very low levels of potassium. My husband and I spent over an hour at the pet store googling groceries and reading labels. We learned a lot about protein, calories, potassium, etc. Blue Wilderness was the best of all. Although her problems were not food related we did everything we could between medicine and food to make her better but unfortunately we

Blue Buffalo killed my baby. DO NOT BUY BLUE

I have been feeding my cats the same 2 cat brands for years, switching back and forth because one is picky and gets bored with one brand after a while so I switch In December I was wondering if a better brand would fix the problem. I remembered how I used to work in a pet shop and Blue used to be a very good quality dog food. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the quality it once had is no longer there. I started giving Blue to my cats in late December and within a week I noticed something…
