I installed these on my wife's 2013 Volvo XC90. The lights were very easy to install, taking about three minutes per side. Everything fit into the headlight capsule, they were relatively easy to align (LEDs at 3 and 9 o'clock) and they really worked as plug and play. Also, they used so much power that they didn't get an error code on the dashboard that the headlight was off. They're noticeably brighter, whiter, and shine way further down the road than the Slyvania Silverstar Ultra Halogen bulbs she had. They look amazing and are great for lighting up the entire street at night. The Fahren H9 headlights we received were rated for cool white/6500K and 20,000 lumens. According to my meter, they're actually closer to 7100K and far in the blue spectrum. When lit from the road they look brilliant white, but if you look at them directly you can see a slight blue cast. I also measured their light output at 356 lux from a distance of 5 meters at a 90 degree angle. This equates to 16,379 lumens with a beam width of around 30 feet. So not quite 20,000 as advertised, but pretty close. They effectively illuminate the entire road from curb to curb. I also find the price fair and the nominal service life fantastic, especially when you consider the price/service life ratio of some high-end halogen lamps. -1 star for features that are slightly different than advertised but no other downsides, IMO. Overall they are better than expected and I am very happy with the purchase. I would recommend them to anyone living in the country who needs a good bright light to spot potential wildlife running down a dark country lane.
