Our first outing with the new camper/surge protector combo and we had two thunderstorms which also cut the power at the park - very glad to have a quality surge protector that does its job job done. I would give it five stars but the lid doesn't close at 30A for our camper as it's too big and has a retractable handle but that's not a deal breaker. It's nice to have a knock bar too - I used a bike lock cable to bypass the electric socket as it's there in front of everyone and I've heard it's a target for parking thieves. I think it's a great device - not the most expensive, but not "cheap" either.
