Although I have a JBL flip5, the loudness is occasionally insufficient. As I turned my attention to the more potent flip6 (which has 30W versus my flip5's 20W), I unintentionally saw a comparison with this subject. After some deliberation, I accepted it and immediately compared JBL "on the forehead" with it. What else can I say besides Huawei sounds better and more accurate. Although JBL may appear louder to an untrained ear because of their trademarked bully of high frequencies beyond 15 kHz, flip5 has a mess if it sounds intriguing in E80 floorstanding speakers. - If not added in the program, Huawei's default bass is a little bit less intense, but the bass itself is lower and deeper. The bass wheel in the application, which JBL lacks, can be easily adjusted to make up for this deficiency (at +6, the Chinese are already outperforming the Americans in both depth and bass amount); however, for myself, I chose the "correct" position between 0 and +4 (depending on the volume) - the middle is roughly the same, a little more pronounced in Huawei, and more even (by ear, of course). - JBL's higher highs, as already discussed, may make the sound seem louder. But this bully is unnatural and artificial. Huawei highs are crisper, more accurate, and quieter. Add to that an NFC tag, x2 more autonomy, x1.5 more power, and a reduced cost (the new Joy costs the same as a used flip5). The single area in which the American obviously triumphs over the Chinese is comfort: JBL is lighter and more ergonomic in the palm. However, miracles are rare because their own requirements—a large volume, a large battery, and greater sound for less money—are met. The confidence in the accuracy of the savings while purchasing Joy (and not the more costly flip6) was even more established given the minor difference (based on the reviews) between the Flip5 and flip6. Who really cares, but I came to the conclusion that I didn't lose money by purchasing Joy rather than flip6. Well, the JBL Flip5 definitely sells out on eBay, and the Huawei becomes the new everyday portable speaker.
