Review on Premium Chrome Handheld Shower Head with 2.5 GPM Flow - Waterpik SM 653 CG by Scott Channell

Extremely disappointed with this shower head. I bought it for the massage feature - I used a similar Waterpik shower head during a hotel stay and it worked great for a neck injury. This one was pathetic compared to him. He's too weak to give anything like a massage. I'll admit that my house doesn't have very high water pressure, but based on the product description and reviews I've come to the conclusion that the shower head works as a massager even with relatively low water pressure. In my experience, it does not work as a massage device even with a fairly average water pressure. Other reviews I've read say the flow restrictor can be removed to improve water pressure but I didn't want to damage the item as I wouldn't be able to return it then. Good shower head. It was very easy to install, didn't leak at any of the joints and wasn't expensive. It's all pretty light, flimsy plastic, but for the price, it's everything I expected. The non-massage settings were perfectly acceptable for showering/washing hair. The hose is a little shorter than other handheld showerheads I've had before, but not short enough to be uncomfortable. The hose itself was very stiff and not too flexible, but it could improve over time if I give it a chance. Other reviews have said this is the case. Can't say for sure as I decided to return the shower head.
